The board design is of course a major component, and here we have selected a high quality fibre board that is very consistent across its area, rigid and also well damped. Its outer dimensions correspond with the majority of turntables and players on the market and its height is kept low, creating a visually compelling stance beneath the player. Its height is a crucial factor as this achieves a low centre of gravity, which
creates stability and low resonant behaviour properties which are very significant to its sound.
The four isolating feet which are positioned towards the outer corners are equally essential to its performance and create a solid foundation. Precision machined from a 6000 series aluminium, they are significant in size and connect into the board in an inverse manner. This connection plays a major isolation role and here a soft and resilient polymer has been selected to isolate and reduce noise frequencies from reaching through to the audio player.
